Women's Health & Midlife Care
Midlife
Midlife is a season of transition — physically, hormonally, and emotionally — and many women find themselves navigating symptoms without clear answers or support. As a Certified Nurse-Midwife, I work with women who want thoughtful, evidence-based care that honors both the science and the lived experience of their bodies.
Hormonal changes can begin long before menopause, often showing up as changes in sleep, mood, energy, cycles, libido, or overall sense of well-being. Too often, these shifts are minimized or treated in isolation. I believe women deserve care that looks at the whole picture.
My approach to women’s health is collaborative, informed, and individualized. I focus on listening first — understanding symptoms in context, reviewing health history carefully, and helping patients make sense of what their bodies are communicating during midlife and beyond.
A Thoughtful Approach to Hormone Care
Hormone therapy and midlife care are rapidly evolving fields, with growing evidence supporting a more nuanced, personalized approach. When appropriate, care may include hormone therapy, lifestyle support, and ongoing monitoring — always grounded in current clinical guidance and individual risk factors.
Equally important is knowing when not to intervene, and when reassurance, education, or watchful waiting is the right choice. My goal is not to “fix” women, but to support informed decisions that prioritize long-term health and quality of life.
What I Value in Care
I believe women’s healthcare should feel:
-
Collaborative, not rushed
-
Clear, not confusing
-
Respectful, not dismissive
-
Grounded in evidence, not trends
Care works best when patients feel heard, informed, and empowered to participate in decisions about their bodies and health.
Who This Care Is For
I work with women who:
-

-
